[This...is not her room. Mari recognises that the moment she steps through the door, clutching her bag and looking around. Her cat had been in the act of winding his way around her ankles, but he stopped dead with a sudden hiss. Mari pulls him up and wraps him in her arms, trying to calm him. Metal reflects back at her as far as she can see when she looks around. For a moment she blinks slowly, obviously confused, and then she hugs her cat closer to herself and shuffles into the room a little further.
Where is she?
Everything she looks at down the corridors, from the tube of the transporter to the square looking rooms she can see further down. When she walks down and steps towards one of them, the door slides open automatically and she's startled back. Inside is a bed, as far as she can see. She's stepping back before she can see more.
Mari walks back to the transporter and stares at it. It doesn't move when she steps inside and hits every button she can think of. When she steps out again and moves into the elevator, the doors close and move smoothly downwards. By the time it opens she's pressed against the wall like a cat in a room filled with water and her cat is hissing again. The corridor looks somehow even less familiar than the previous one; she remains in her position against the wall until the elevator moves back up, then throws herself out of the doors as soon as they open.
What is this place? Purgatory? There's a mix of fear and nervousness building up inside her. Mari rubs her shoulder and slides down the wall, before finally burying her face into her cat's fur. He stays still and tense in her arms.
This is bad.]
This isn't my fault. [Her voice sounds strange in the echo of the metal room. She swallows, unwilling to look up and face the gleaming metal reply.] I didn't do this. This wasn't my decision.
[That feels a little better. Holding her cat close, she strokes his fur to calm him while watching the metal tubes, waiting for someone to explain this to her.]

Hyun did his best to keep calm. Assess the situation, take inventory, formulate a plan. Three easy steps, and 'Panic and freak out' was not among them.
He creeps along now, his hand hovering by the spot where his holster should be. Jae would have called out a warning to anyone approaching, but then Hyun's always been the silent partner, hasn't he? Instead, he keeps sneaking. A girl's voice registers and he follows it. So he's not alone in this... whatever it is. Hyun only hopes this girl isn't some weird representation of his sister or mother. This could all be a hallucination, okay. But... he definitely doesn't want some special rooting through his memories.
Hyun rounds the corner and comes face to face with a girl holding a cat. He scowls and looks her over dubiously. Setting his hand in his pocket, he tries to seem intimidating. He'd be a great deal more intimidating if he was holding a pistol instead of a phone.]
What wasn't your decision? [he asks in a trained FBI voice.]

Now standing up she turns to face him, ready to run if she has to. Ignoring his question, she shifts her cat in her arms.]
Who are you and where are we?
[She tries to keep her voice even, but can't help a slight crack. Worst luck ever.]

My name is Hyunsoo Tae. I work with the organization known as Ad Meliora. I have no reason to cause you harm. [he shows both his hands, palms towards Mari] And I- I don't know where we are...

[Mari stands up, still eyeing him as though he might switch and attack. She's not exactly afraid of that, but, well, her healing ability is a precious resource and this guy is gigantic. Might be best to run if anything happens.] You having no reason to cause me harm isn't much of a reassurance. People take leave of their reason all the time.
[Now what? She peers down the gleaming corridors and sort of wants to just find somewhere to hide under for a few hours and regroup.] Oh. [He might need her name.] Mari verch Llewelyn. From The Golden Hour.

Miss, I am not employed to argue sociology. People are people. [he shrugs his shoulders slightly] And sometimes they're reasonable and sometimes they're not. But I can give you my word that I don't... [Hyun scowls] want to murder you. Here, or anywhere.
[He traces her gaze down the corridor. Hyun has no gun, no back up. Still, if this individual knows more than he does, he needs to pin her down.]
Did your organization station you here?

Station me? No my "organisation" did not station me in a giant metal room. Why would they- I mean, I can't even think- [she can think of several people who would gladly put her into a giant metal room. She pauses, adjusting her cat who is digging his claws into her arm.] I don't know of anyone, human or Other who'd have the power to transport people into giant metal rooms. [That's better.]
